LIBERTINES star PETE DOHERTY has followed in LIAM GALLAGHER's footsteps – by fathering a secret child with the same woman.
Wildman Pete got together with singer LISA MOORISH after they met through mutual friend SADIE FROST about three years ago.
The affair ended when she fell pregnant but Lisa gave birth to a son who is now 20 months old. The couple called him Estile — a made-up name using letters from Pete and Lisa's names.
Lisa also had a fling with OASIS frontman Liam just a week after he married PATSY KENSIT — and they had a daughter, Molly, who is now six.
That means that Pete's son and Liam's daughter are half brother and sister — talk about rock 'n' roll history repeating itself.
No one outside Pete and Lisa's immediate circle was aware they had a son before now.
A pal says: "Pete would never admit he was having a relationship with Lisa. But they got on really well and ended up sleeping together a few times. Pete was delighted when he heard Lisa was pregnant because she's a great mum. But there was never any question of him and Lisa becoming an item.
"He is very fond of Estile and stays in touch with mother and son. But he only really sees the pair of them a couple of times a year.
"Lisa brings Estile over and they go out as a family for the day.
"Pete freely admits he hasn't been the greatest dad in the world, thanks to his rock star lifestyle.
"But he has vowed to spend more time as a father in the future. He carries a picture of Estile in his wallet and shows it off when people ask."
Lisa is currently frontwoman for KILLCITY. Her two children certainly have a lot of musical talent between them — and the potential to become ultimate hellraisers.
The pair also prove what a small world it is in the London music scene. Liam and Pete both met Lisa through what's known as the Sadie Frost set, who regularly party at the Notting Hill Arts Club in west London.
As well as Sadie, members include DANNY GOFFEY from SUPERGRASS, his wife Pearl, Lisa and KATE MOSS.
Another lynch-pin is ALAN McGEE who used to manage Oasis and now manages The Libertines — and holds a regular night at the Notting Hill club.
Pete is rapidly emerging as Britain's most notorious rock star since SID VICIOUS.
Despite his huge talent, he is a notorious druggie who is in danger of ruining his life through heroin abuse.
He was famously jailed for robbing bandmate CARL BARAT's flat to help fund his drug habit.
However, the pair were reunited last year and The Libertines are currently recording what promises to be one of the best records of 2004.
They are in the studio working on their self-titled second album — the follow-up to Up The Bracket.

| | "the view"... | ] | ALTERNATIVE: MORRISSEY GUESTS FOR A WEEK ON "CRAIG KILBORN" (New York-AP) -- Morrissey will spend an entire week on late night television. Morrissey will appear on "The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn" on May 24th for an interview. He'll then be the musical guest for the rest of that week. Kilborn says in a statement he's thrilled to have Morrissey on his show because "his music conveys the loneliness and despair of a man hosting a 12:30 A-M talk show on C-B-S." |

| | 11pm news... | ] | Morrissey, Simpson Join 'Smash' Lineup (Friday, May 14 11:30 AM)
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The WB's summer music show "Pepsi Smash" is offering up a wide-ranging lineup of acts this season, from bubbly popster Jessica Simpson to the eternally mopey Morrissey.
Simpson, who may or may not be starring in her own ABC sitcom next week, is set to appear on at least two episodes of the show, which premieres Thursday, May 27. Lenny Kravitz, Black Eyed Peas, Hoobastank, Alanis Morrissette, "O.C." favorites Rooney, Joss Stone, Avril Lavigne and Kanye West are also among the other performers scheduled for the eight-week series.
Nick Zano, a co-star of the network's comedy "What I Like About You," will serve as host for the in-studio performances. "Smash" will also take its cameras on the road this season, with Rachel Perry of VH1 handling the remote duties.
Perry will be traveling in the "SmashMobile," a tour bus/remote set that will stop at several venues across the country. The show is set to beam snippets of live performances from OutKast's Big Boi, Blink-182, John Mayer and Sting to the audience.
"Pepsi Smash" wasn't much of a ratings smash for The WB last summer, drawing fewer than 2 million viewers per week. Pepsi's heavy involvement in the show, however, means it doesn't cost the network much, and it never hurts to keep a big advertiser happy. |

| | countdown to quittin' time... | ] | Ian and Noel, Mancs Utd
THE ultimate Brit-pop collaboration is on the cards — OASIS and THE STONE ROSES.
Well, sort of.
Oasis guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER and fellow Mancunian, ex-Roses singer IAN BROWN, have recorded a song for Ian's new album.
The music for the as-yet-unnamed track was written by Noel while Ian laid down the vocals.
They hatched the idea after a chance meeting at the Electric Cinema in London's Notting Hill.
Ian told me: "We got talking about music and agreed we should do something.
"Noel sent me some music he'd done and I recorded a vocal. The result is brilliant, I'm really excited. I hope it will be a single."
Ian expects his new album to be in the shops in August or September. |

| | shift change... | ] | Ringo's son joins Oasis By SUN ONLINE REPORTER
OASIS today unveiled their newest recruit - Zak Starkey, son of Beatles legend Ringo.
Noel Gallagher told the BBC's 6 Music that Zak had been working with them in the studio and would join them on tour and for next month's Glastonbury festival.
He said: "We've known Zak for a while and we asked him if he'd play on a few songs and he said yeah, and he has done and it's been absolutely fantastic."
He reckoned Zak was stylish enough to join them even though he was not from Manchester.
"He's a good boy, he's got a good haircut ... good shoes - which is important."
Noel said it was a pity the band did not have any new material to play at Glastonbury - "but I think we kind of George Best'ed it the last time we headlined it so this time will be great I think, but then again we're not doing ourselves any favours because Zak's first gig will be to 150,000 people but y'know... He's rehearsing all the Oasis songs now."
Asked whether Oasis were becoming The Beatles Mark II, Gallagher said: "As long as I'm not becoming Paul McCartney it'll be all right."
A spokeswoman for the group said today that a permanent replacement for the last drummer, Alan White, had yet to be confirmed. |
